This page covers troubleshooting tips for when you can connect but are having problems uploading or publishing your site.
Cannot Connect
If you're unable to to connect, see Unable to Connect.
Step 1 - Double Check Where You're Uploading
You can only upload files to the folder designated for your domain. Uploading to the root folder ("/") will cause an error. Make sure you're uploading files to the correct location (ie. /example.com).
Step 2 - Check your Space Usage
Our hosting provides 100 MB of space. If you reach that limit, you won't be able to upload and will need to remove files from the server to free up space. We've built our service and optimized it to maintain the utmost speed and reliability for the websites we host. The 100MB space limit is part of that decision. We've found that very few people ever need to go above that amount of hosting space unless they're trying to upload very large video's or huge photo albums. Instead, you can use an external storage service to upload your actual content and then embed the videos / photos directly onto your website with us. For videos there's https://www.viddler.com/ (embedding instructions) and for large photo albums there's https://www.flickr.com/ (embedding instructions).
