Typepad

Typepad is a blog hosting platform. Connect your Typepad blog with your domain by following the steps below.

Step 1: Create CNAME Record

1. Login to your Control Panel at https://www.misk.com/cp/
2. Click on your Domain Name
3. Point the domain
   
   • For the main domain (i.e., www.example.com)
     
     1. Under Essentials in the top area, click Website
     2. Click CNAME / Hostname
   • For a subdomain (e.g., blog.example.com)
     
     1. Under Essentials in the top area, click DNS
     2. Click Add Record and select CNAME
     3. Enter the Subdomain you want (e.g., blog)
4. Enter yourname.typepad.com (replace yourname with your actual typepad name) as the Hostname
5. Click Save

Step 2: Complete Setup with Typepad

1. Login to Typepad
2. In the top navigation, click the Account link
3. In the left menu, choose Domain Mapping
4. Click the Begin Here button
5. Enter your domain name or subdomain in the Enter your custom domain name text field
6. Choose to map the domain to your entire site or a single blog / album
7. Click Add Domain Mapping
8. Go back to the Domain Mapping page 
9. Check the Activate link next to the domain to activate your mapping
