Squarespace

Squarespace is an online website builder. Connect your Squarespace site with your domain by following the steps below.

Step 1: Add Domain to Squarespace and Get Verification Code

1. Login to Squarespace
2. While managing your website at Squarespace, go to the menu on the left
3. Click Settings
4. Click Domains
5. Click Use a Domain I Own
6. Enter Domain Name and click Continue
7. Click Connect Domain
8. Select Other as the domain provider in the drop down and click Connect Domain
9. A pop-up message will show saying Connection in progress, click Continue
10. A list of dns settings will be displayed. Leave this page open and continue to the following steps

Step 2: Add Verification Record

1. Login to your Control Panel at https://www.misk.com/cp/
2. Click on your Domain Name
3. Under Essentials in the top area, click DNS
4. Click Add Record and select CNAME
5. Enter the long line of letters / numbers from Squarespace's dns settings list under Host as the Subdomain
6. Enter verify.squarespace.com as the Hostname
   
7. Click Save

Step 3: Point Domain to Squarespace

1. Login to your Control Panel at https://www.misk.com/cp/
2. Click on your Domain Name
3. Under Essentials in the top area, click Website
4. Select CNAME / Hostname
5. Enter ext-cust.squarespace.com as the Hostname
6. Click Advanced Settings

7. Enter the following ip addresses as the Custom Root Domain IP

   • 198.185.159.144
   • 198.185.159.145
   • 198.49.23.144
   • 198.49.23.145
8. Click Save
