Point your domain to a server / host using an ip address. We support both IPv4 (A) and IPv6 (AAAA) ip addresses. You can also learn about Dynamic IP Addresses and Load Balancing Using Round Robin Records.
Create an A/AAAA Record
- Login to your Control Panel at https://www.misk.com/cp/

- Point the domain
- For the main domain (i.e., www.example.com)

- Click Save
- For a subdomain (e.g., blog.example.com)
- Under Essentials in the top area, click DNS
- Click Add Record and select IP / A / AAAA
- Enter the Subdomain you want (e.g., blog)
- Enter the server's IP Address

Preferred Domain Forwarding
When using IP Pointing for the main domain, you can use the Preferred Domain setting to automatically forward your root domain (example.com) to the www version (www.example.com).
Custom Root Domain IP
Some hosts require you to point the root domain (@ or example.com) to a different set of ip addresses than the www version (www.example.com). Clicking on "Advanced Settings" under the IP Address field will allow you to list those separate ip addresses for the root domain (@ or example.com).
How Long will the Change Take?
DNS changes are made immediately and in realtime across our nameservers. However, due to dns record caching by internet service providers, it may take a few hours for everyone to see the changes.
