Follow the steps below to setup your email address in Outlook (new) for Windows, which is free and included with Windows. Alternatively, you can also find instructions for the paid version at Outlook for Office 365.
Add a New Email Address
- Open Outlook (new)
- Go to Settings and click + Add account
- Enter Your Full Email Address and then click Continue
- On the next screen, leave the Password box empty and at the bottom right, click Select provider
- Scroll down and select POP
- Enter Your Email Password
- Turn on Show more
- Turn on Use recommended settings
- Enter the following POP Account Settings:
POP Configuration
POP Incoming server: pop.misk.com
Port: 995
Secure connection type: SSL / TLS
SMTP Configuration
SMTP username: Your Full Email Address
SMTP password: Leave Blank
SMTP Outgoing server: smtp.misk.com
Port: 465
Secure connection type: SSL / TLS
Click Continue
Edit an Existing Email Address
- Open Outlook (new)
- On the top right click the gear wheel to open Settings
- Under Email account, click on Manage next to your email address
- Verify POP configuration and SMTP configuration match the settings above
- Click Repair if necessary to edit your settings or password
