Setup Instructions
The default email app for Android is Gmail (Lollipop and later versions), which allows you to add your own email account. Follow the steps below to setup your email address with Android's Gmail application.
Depending on your version of Android, Step 1 may be slightly different, but the rest of the steps and settings are the same regardless of the version you're using.
- Open your Android's Gmail application and go to the left menu options
- To Add a New Address
- Click on Settings and tap Add account
- Choose Other and tap Next
- Enter your Email Address and tap Next
- Choose Personal (POP3) and tap Next
- Enter your Email Password and tap Next
- To Edit an Existing Address
- Click on Settings and tap Your Email Address
- Scroll down to Server Settings
- Tap Incoming settings or Outgoing settings to edit the settings
- To Add a New Address
- Under Incoming Server Settings
Username: Your Full Email Address
Password: Your Email Password
Server: pop.misk.com
Port: 995
Security Type: SSL/TLS - Tap Next
- Under Outgoing Server Settings
Require Signin: On
Username: Your Full Email Address
Password: Your Email Password
SMTP Server: smtp.misk.com
Port: 465
Security Type: SSL/TLS
- Tap Next. Make any changes you'd like to your account options
- Tap Next. Name your account and enter the name you want displayed for outgoing messages
- Tap Next to complete setup
